<p>Can anyone tell me if a 'C' looks better than a 'W' on a transcript to UT? Will they change their minds about me if I withdraw from one class? The reason why I might withdraw, is one: I might make a 'C', and two: I will have 68 credits after this semester, and UT only takes 66. What do you guys think I should do?</p>
<p>I think I might call UT and ask about taking a W and if it will affect your transfer. I probably wouldn't say anything about grades, just that they will only accept 66 credits, that class puts you over the limit, and you don't want to finish it without being able to take the credit. If it is for you major, you might say that you want to take that class at UT since it is where you will be taking the rest of your major requirements.</p>
<p>After saying all that, I really don't think a C will affect your transfer anyway if you are already accepted. But, why finish the course if you can't take the credit?</p>
<p>I actually got an answer today from the admissions department. She told me that it won't have any effect on my admissions status. Yay :)</p>
