I got my fedex today and it said that I got the international scholarship! I didn't even apply for FA! And applied wwwwwway after the scholarship consideration due date!
I'm so excited!
(my scholarship letter was in my welcome-to-rochester package)

How much scholarship did you get NoFX? I had applied for FA, before Dec 1, thought I had pretty strong credentials, but got only $7500 scholarship from Rochester. So it'd cost me ~40K/yr at Rochester. I declined. (I got full tuition scholarships from Brandeis and BU which are in the same league as Rochester.)

Accepted... :)

Then I hate you all :)

Weilin37, you bring hope to the rest of us!

did anyone get a rejection letter

lol that'll be a gratifying post to make

So I got a deffered enrollment which means that I'm accepted, but I can only enter after one semester, January 2008. So before that, I have to do something else. I'm planning on going to case western reserve first and then transfering over. My question is, if I'm entering one semester late, do I still graduate at the same time as the regular class of 2011 does?

Wow rochester is mean, They gave me a big package saying welcome to rochester class of 2011, but on the letter it's a defferred enrollment. mean mean mean

It's still an acceptance...and I'm not sure if you can just go to Case for one semester and then switch over to Rochester. Seriously, I wouldn't care if I get a deferred enrollment..heck, I'd start a semester late without a problem.

Actually on the letter, it says that I can do whatever I want, Travelling, self-study, volunteer work, or even temporary enrollment at a college. I really don't want to spend an entire semester not studying, so i think I might go to case western reserve university for a semester and go to Rochester. I hope rochester let's me to go any college I want for temporary study. I don't want to end up in a community college. nightmare

Yeah..I'm wondering what I'll do if I get a delayed acceptance..maybe I could do a semester at Pitt Honors..who knows..I'd rather not think about it, lol..

wielin, where are you from?

I'm from Ithaca, New york

so i called, and for deferred enrollment, you graduate at the same class as the rest of the class of 2011 does.

If you cut and past this link I think you can see whether you were accepted.

I entered my info and got this message.
"Only students who have received an admit letter may register for Spring Open Campus or MVP."

This is not a good sign. I'm curious to know if any admitted students get the same message.
