Accepted

OOPs. That was the wrong link. This is the right one.

http://enrollment.rochester.edu/classof/2011/socmvp/reset.asp

Anyone hear anything today?

nidachti, everyone sees the same message, the website gives you no hint of whether or not you were accepted. Believe me I tried. Even people who weren't accepted can register for the spring open.

I couldn't.

I got accepted, but I'm still split over what school I'm going to end up in.

Rochester has some very unique qualities, however, that may push it over the edge (besides the fact that they actually give merit-based scholarships). If I do end up going, I think I'm going to do something engineering or maybe CS.

Look me up on the Class of 2011 Rochester site - my screen name is the same here as there.

Can those of you who were accepted log onto
http://enrollment.rochester.edu/clas...cmvp/reset.asp
or do you get the message that I do which is ?Only students who have received an admit letter may register for Spring Open Campus or MVP."

If y?all can get through and I can?t it means that a rejection or waitlist is in the mail. I guess I?d like to know one way or the other. Can anyone help?

the link doesn't work

If you get the same message I do that gives me hope. Thanks.

I get the same message, but in my case i got a deferred enrollment. so i dunno

Thanks for letting me know that you got the same message weillin. At this point my best hope is for deferred enrollment since I am pretty sure that the acceptances have all been received and I didn't get one. My fear is that I'm going to find myself on a traditional waitlist.

Nothing today, but I suppose I'll get something tomorrow..or whatever..

And Weilin, you're POSITIVE that not being able to register for that thing means nothing?

http://enrollment.rochester.edu/clas...cmvp/reset.asp

In other words, that me not being able to register for that link DOES NOT necessarily mean that I was rejected?

When did everyone get their fin. aid packages with respect to their acceptances? It will be a week tom. and still nothing.

HeavenWood that link doesnt work (both of them).

I didnt get financial aid but I got a scholarship (is that fin aid?) and that letter was in my acceptance package.

Scholarships are merit aid.

Well, seeing how I got a defferred enrollment, and that I was not able to register or post in any forums, I can say that I'm fairly positive Heavenwood

Finally found out..accepted for spring session..which is cool, but Roch is out of our price range now..so, I'll be going to Pitt..

..but at least I know that I got in!

well, congrats Heavenwood, I know you were more than qualified enough to get in

are you sure that Rochester isn't giving you any financial aid? B/c I have a friend who's actually going to Pitt-- she got enough financial at Syracuse to make it the same price as Pitt, so her decision didn't have to be based solely on money...

She did choose Pitt in the end though, and it is a really impressive school-- especially w/ all the pre-med opportunities.

I am very favorably impressed by Pitt. Best of luck to you, HeavenWood!

No financial aid for me, unfortunately, and $51,000 a year is just too much to shell out for undergrad...

Did you get a deffered enrollment for Jan . 2008? Or a acceptance to spring semester? Because the jan. 2008 defferred is different i think.
