I had a similar experience as you all- I applied, got the email notification of acceptance and the nice certificate, but nothing about a scholarship-without which I am not sure that I will consider. Have you heard anything about the condition of the campus, architecture? thanks

If you want to take a look at the campus buildings try going to website under Visitor Information... There is a campus map for Uptown campus and when you click on buildings you will see photos

Tulane University - Campus Maps

Does your architecture query refer to architecture program or physical architecture of the campus itself?

Finally got the "thin" envelope and it was well worth the wait...$24,000 a year with admission into the honors program. Nice way to start out the admissions process!

My guess a bunch of Y'all (that right?) heard today too ($24,000 a year...that'll go far on Bourban street no? Drinks are on me!!!!!

Thanks for letting me obsess nonetheless!

Yes!!!!!!!
I Got In!!!
No More Dreaming!!! I'm Living It!

logicaldog- I take saturday high school classes at Tulane, and I personally think the campus is really beautiful. It certainly doesn't look like a hurricane has plowed through recently, and the area the school is located in is absolutely gorgeous.

salem- congrats!

Did any of you get an email that said your admissions status had changed? Or did you just go to the website to check your status?

I went to the website to check my status. Can the status change? Is that what you received jym626?

Some colleges send emails to say your application is complete, and then send an email to say your application status has changed. Then the site tells you if you are accepted, deferred, rejected, or whatever. I was just wondering if anyone got any email from the University or it they just saw it by going to the website, as my s did? Also, can anyone successfully click on the "accepted students" link? It doesnt seem to be working.

Same thing happened to me. My status was incomplete, then complete, shortly after I received an email saying it was incomplete (maybe scholarship info) then in a couple of days it says I'm accepted. The link isn't working for me, too.

vaaappp-
so you DID get an email from the school saying your file was complete??? Or was it just on the website?

Yipeeee I just go my acceptance on the website.

jym.. I didn't get an email, I just checked the website. The 'accepted students' link doesn't work for me either. I

So I hear about scholarship stuff when I get my letter, correct?

Yes, college..

The hardest part about being accepted is making a decision. Most students apply to more than 1 school. If they don't they should. A lot of things can happen between applying and actually going to college. Personal changes, financial, family, plain old change of interests.

My son is quite excited about being accepted to Tulane. An excellent school. But now he is up to 4 schools accepting him and 3 others who are very interested. So, now it's time to relax, breathe, and find out what he truly wants to do with his life. I'm pretty sure he knows which school he wants, but it's nice when others show such interest.

So, if you've got a lot of choices, my sympathy with you. If you always knew Tulane was the school you've always wanted and others don't matter, then I definitely admire you and am envious. Good luck to you.

I never got on an email that said my admission stuff is complete. It just says that I've been accepted online, and the last email i got from TU was one saying my app was incomplete. Does anyone know why the accepted students link doesn't work?
