I GOT MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER TODAY! but i dont really care- i want to go to west point or the AFA. I wasn't that excited when i opened that letter because i knew what it was going to say.

Are you a recruited athlete?

yeah, but not at princeton

Alright, two more questions

1) Was it a "likely" letter or an official acceptance letter?
2) When did you apply?

I think he's a Questbridge applicant or in an otherwise special circumstance.

^Questbridge applicants do not find out of their match results, wheter or not we are accepted, until Monday, Dec. 1; I don't think he's a Questbridge applicant.

what the letter says? i know one kid received an acceptance letter from FSU last week but they said they'll give out the results on Dec 3rd..Some letters come early for some people why?

it was an acceptance letter - im not a questbridge applicant. (Both my parents went there and my dad was on staff for 6 years)

how is it possible that people are already getting acceptance letters?!

It's not possible. The only thing he could have received early (besides QB) is a LL. Sounds like a troll.

well it obviously is cause i kinda got one

Yet another troll...

^^It is not possible for anyone to have received a straight up acceptance to Princeton yet. All universities in the Ivy League except some of the Cornell schools are bound by an agreement to use a common spring notification date for RD applicants. The most anyone could have this early is a likely letter, and this early that would probably be an athlete.

^ Exactly. From our school, one has already committed to Harvard and the other to Princeton. They are both athletes.

Here's a link to the explanation for OP's post:

Lots of trolls on the Princeton forums today.

caught!...

Just to add another possibility for letters, if you deferred from a previous year and have made Princeton aware that you plan to attend next fall. That's what I did and I got a confirmation/acceptance letter early this week.

exactly what i did too
