I'm not sure what my status is. I received a postcard inviting me and my family to an open house for admitted students, but I have not received a letter or email to that effect.
Hmmm.

Has any international student received their decision?

Anyone heard RD?

My son was accepted RD at Hobart. He received his financial package. Hobart met our reported need with a scholarship, a grant, a small amount of work study and the usual $5500. in Stafford loans.

Of course, our actual need and the one that FASFA thinks are two different things.

I received a postcard inviting me and my family to Hobart for an event for accepted students. I emailed admissions saying that I had received the postcard, but no news on admission. They called me Friday to say I had been admitted and would receive the packet confirming admission shortly. So far, nothing has been conventional with any school.

Pageturner, my son is also waiting to hear from Hobart RD and he is getting very anxious. i was wondering how your son found out, by mail, email? Thanks!

Got accepted -- formally -- today by mail. They also notified me that I have been named a Faculty Scholar and that more information on that will be coming by mail soon.

Maximum1: Did you recieve the official acceptance via snail mail? If you don't mind me asking, what state are you from?

Son just got official acceptance letter today. Applied regular decision, now we are done. Heard from everywhere and just have to decide. Hobart is looking good!!!!

OneMoreTime: What other schools is he considering?

My son's acceptance arrived in today's mail.

My daughter received her acceptance package in the mail today (we live in Southern California).

BJAG I received the acceptance through snail mail. I should also say, when I emailed to ask about the postcard invitation, they called me before I got the package to tell me I had been accepted. I was impressed that the admissions office was both friendly and helpful. I am from Maryland.

Obviously most of the people who post here are future freshmen. But does anyone know anything about the decisions for transfers?

Accepted! Called admissions and they said the financial package will be mailed today.

D was accepted on Monday! 6 other school decisions to follow this week! but we all love HWS!

Did anyone hear info about HWS Faculty Scholarships? What was the amount of your scholarship?

MomfromOhio- yes, snail mail. He received an arts scholarship, so he heard a bit earlier; sometime at the end of February. The financial aid package came at the same time.
It really seems like a wonderful school. I hope my son gives it serious consideration.

Son was ED 1 and heard via mail and phone

I havent heard back from HWS. Does the school informing students on rolling basis?

Accepted. Full financial aid which I'm stoked about, but still waiting on my top choices. Congrats to everyone!
