I received the letter today! I was just wondering if anyone has any information about the theater major which is what I am looking at.

My child has a 5 X 7 envelope waiting at home. Could this be acceptance or waitlist? Anyone know?

Boiled, my daughter got accepted and also got a big envelope today. Congrats!

Thanks. My daughter is not home yet. I was worried it was a waitlist since it was not 8 X 10. Was the acceptance in a 5 X 7? I am still worried, can you tell?

my acceptance was big, prolly 8 X 10

paige33- Thanks for the info. I guess I just have to worry about it until later tonight. 5 x 7 seemed to be a very weird size to me. It feels thick, but it is not like the other big envelopes received with other acceptances, so now I am afraid it may be a larger than normal waitlist envelope. Drat!

My D’s acceptance came in a 10 x 13. Just measured it.

boiled, it seems rather odd, they would send a thick waitlist letter in a 5 x7. Maybe they ran out of envelopes – sounds like an acceptance, but as you said, you’ll know soon enough. GOOD LUCK!!

Boiled, I just got waitlisted, and it came in a thick envelope about the size that you were describing.
I wish your child good luck.

sarmom24 and blaze14- Thanks for the help. D just got home- it WAS a waitlist letter (kind of cruel as that size was kind of odd for a waitlist). D joining you with the frowny face, blaze14! Congrats to your D, sarmom24!~

Thanks so much, but believe me – my daughter has had her share of disappointments this week. Rejected from 2 of her two top choices and waitlisted at the other two. I’m sure they will all end up happy though Best of luch to us all!!

i got waitlisted as well 5 x7. at least its not a rejection but i never intended on applying, i got into nyu and colby :)
