Accepting UT admission

To accept admission one must send your final transcript...right? What happens if, after you send your transcript (this will be after the May 1st deadline), your acceptance gets rescinded due to your grades? I assume at that point you're unable to accept other college offers and you're forced to take a semester off (or go to community college) and reapply to colleges...Also, what are the chances they rescind your application? My grades have dropped maybe a bit but my class rank actually improved, but just by a little bit. I probably dropped about .6 and might be around 1 whole grade point by the end of the semester.

I would think you would need to get like straight D’s and F’s to rescind.

To accept admission, all UT wants is your $200.00. The transcript comes much later (June sometime) If you have some F’s, that would be of concern but going from A’s to B’s is just what it is and certainly of no concern.

I wouldn’t worry about being rescinded for your particular situation. I think some “senioritis” is expected. :)
