Can I get my acceptance rescinded?

Hello All,
I just got admitted into my dream school at UT Austin! I am a transfer student so I only applied with my college record. However now that I am admitted I am having to upload my high school transcript. I did not have the best grades AT ALL in high school, so I am a little nervous about the possibility of UT revoking my acceptance. In addition, in the past semester, I dropped a course with a W that I stated I was currently in on my application, however my GPA will for sure go up because of that decision. I spoke to an admissions officer and they informed me that the drop will most likely not be crucial since it isnt a prerequisite and I am a liberal arts major. Please help with any more info! Thanks

I doubt they will rescind you. They were basing their acceptance primarily on your college record.

Nobody here can give you better information than the admissions office.

If your high school grades were part of application then they would/should have asked for it before they made their dcision. Unless you misrepresented your high school grades on your application, I would worry about it.

And regarding your question about sending your HS transcripts – if they accepted you without your HS record, they may just want to verify any information your provided and confirm that you graduated.

Sorry, I was typing very fast. I meant to say “I wound’t worry about it.”

Okay I was thinking the same thing but I was just wanting to be sure! Thanks everyone
