Accounting and Economics

<p>hey all,</p>

<p>i am a freshman currently in Accounting major. however, i am interested in Economics also. so i was thinking to do double major in Acc and Econ. however my college doesnt offer Economics as a major/minor.</p>

<p>i did some research and basically found out that Economics is offered mainly in liberal arts college where Accounting is not offered, similarly universities (other than LAC)offer Accounting but not Economics.</p>

<p>i knw there are few exception to this....i was wondering if anyone has any idea of those colleges which offer both Accounting and Economics majors.</p>

<p>I would think there would be many colleges which would do this, in particular, any large public university. I attend UT-Austin and it does. Texas A&M and BYU do as well.</p>

<p>What school do you go to that doesn't offer economics as a major? I can't think of a single school that does not. Any large school will have econ and business available. Small schools tend not to have business as a major.</p>
