This include the Summer Leadership Programs...

Has anyone attended/done these? What do you have to say about them?

How to prep for them? What to bring? Key questions to ask? Anything? =)

Thanks in advance.

anyone have any firsthand knowledge??

i’m going to the ernst & young summer leadership program in boston in july, i’ll tell you how it goes! i’d like some feedback too, i have no idea if i should be prepping or anything for this, lol

in terms if you want to apply for it, you just need to fill out a basic application and probably interview once. mine was a really relaxed interview, we basically chatted about our lives for 30 minutes. you do need to know the basic “so why are you interested in this program? why makes you think you would be a better candidate than others” but i did no prep whatsoever for that interview, so i was pretty happy to have gotten it!

I was curious about this as well. I applied through my schools career site to Deloitte and PWC’s program. I am going with Deloitte to Arizona in July for their leadership program and to PWC’s metro washington program. I also spoke with the KPMG recruiter who said I could arrange a meet and greet with the staff sometime this summer. I did an externship program through a regional firm in the winter and it was a really great experience where we got a feel for the firm’s culture, got to meet all levels of staff, as well as work on a sample audit case study and do a scavenger hunt around the mall. I always thought I wanted to go Big 4, but I had a great time at the small firm.

I would definitely participate in any externships you can to get a feel for the firm’s culture, to see what they do, and to see where you might be a good fit.
