Which of these two business degrees will offer more job opportunities?

It is best if you Double major. Or either of these degrees fit certain personalities.
Most people would say accounting are for quiet people but honestly if you have an excellent GPA and you cannot sell yourself, it may be hard in the business world (especially in the BIG 4). Almost similar to MIS if you seek a job related to consulting. But if you get a pretty good GPA with MIS + technical ability (I donot want to lean towards Computer Science) you may excel in the technology industry because they mostly donot care about your personality all because the GPA signifies discipline, ability, and motivation That’s why it helps alot.
Accounting and Comp Sci(similar to MIS) has the most jobs available but accounting gets paid less. Both can work in any industry that’s mostly why. My advise will be to double major and apply for jobs with both, or while you are still taking course you may get tired of one.

I graduated with dual degrees acc+mis. In my 40 years of career, I did about half and half in accounting and Mis. First few jobs were in Accounting, later on I established myself in MIS and switched. After I got out of the MIS consulting business, I got into financial sales and it required a lot of accounting background.

If I had to do it over, I would do professional CPA all the way and not muddle with MIS. I regreat I did not take the advise of Professor Chessernoff when I had the choice. If I were going for MIS, I would do straight CS and work in the computer industry instead of the corporate environment. That is only me, do whatever you think is best for you.
