I am currently a sophmore at St. Thomas Aquinas College a small school in Rockland County NY, I am from Long Island so it is not that far away. Unfortunately for me STAC does not offer Poli Sci and I am looking for good schools. As we all know Georgetown and American are obviously the best schools for Poli Sci but they are out of reach for me due to my GPA. So far I have researched the following schools, UCLA UMD college park and George Mason University. I still need so more options. I am trying to keep SUNY schools in mind but am unaware of the best Poli Sci programs. Please Help!

As far as SUNYs, Binghamton will most likely have the strongest Poli Sci program. Also look into Geneseo, I’ve been told its strongest programs are in the natural sciences and education, but it’s well known as the one of the top SUNYs (between it and Geneseo).
If you have the GPA for UCLA, you have the GPA for American, and a chance for Georgetown.

I think Albany is supposed to have a very good Political Science program.

If you can’t make Georgetown I don’t think you can make UCLA. What is your GPA?
