Acedmic probation!!

I just applied for financial aid at my junior college and they said I needed to fill out an academic probation form due to the 1.78 gpa I got when I was in high school (I took summer classes in high school). I transfered to my junior college this year from a 4 year with a 3.3 gpa. I was wondering when I apply to an uc do I have to state that I had an academic probation on my application???? Would this hurt my acceptance change?

The class I took in the summer was a 2 unit p.e. course which I received an F bc I forgot to fill out a drop slip. Should I take this course again to get a higher gpa or would it not matter bc its just a p.e. course (the p.e. course is a transferable class to an uc)

Don’t worry about this. List the class and briefly explain the situation in the “Is there anything else you think we should know” section of the application. If you can, retake it if you are sure it is a transferable course. Can you ask the transfer counselor at your CC or the transfer admissions liason at the UC(s) you are applying to? They are usually happy to answer questions IF you can get them on the phone or via email.
