Ack! What does this mean? (Status update...)

I am soo jealous of all of you right now, lol. Got to go audition, gwarrr.

Do you know if the “allowing to deposit” box works for all admitted students right now? Or do you think the box maybe allows more people in by the hour?

^^ This seems to make more sense rather than just saying on Saturday, X amount of people will have the boxes.

People get the boxes approximately seven days after the date on their acceptance letter - the letter that comes in your USC acceptance packet.

FWIW, both links work for my son’s account and his status has just changed from “forwarded” back to “being reviewed”.

So it looks like he’s been accepted, and his status changed from Forward to Being Reviewed?! Wow, these statuses truly don’t mean anything.

MagicalMalik how do u know that the links work 7 days after acceptance?
does that mean for some of us that the letter could be on it’s way but the boxes still don’t work and if so how come people haven’t gotten letters but can enter the links?? so confused!

did you guys log in eventhough it says the activity is logged? or is there another way?

bbcc10

I would use this link https://usconnect.usc.edu:447/Render/ServiceRender/AdmUGCertification.aspx</a>… rather than the https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmCertification/Commit.aspx</a> link.

If you use the first link and click the box it should either say unauthorized or bring you to the second camel link. That way you’ll know with out actually logging in.

Maybe S’s status changed from “forwarded” back to “being reviewed” as punishment for my having attempted to take a sneak peek. Lol, just kidding.

hmm it just comes up blank! should i just try logging in the other way?

how can you check if they got the transcripts and letter of rec?

when i use these links it drops me back to Udergrad. App. tab.

chocoblow, I know this because that’s what it said in one of the letters that was in my USC acceptance packet: “To reserve your place in the class and enable you to register at USC, you must submit a $300 Enrollment Commitment Deposit by May 1, 2010. You may submit your deposit/waiver online (you will be able to log into www.usc.edu/deposit approximately seven days after the date of this letter).”

Going to www.usc.edu/deposit simply takes you to the same USConnect page we’ve been going on this entire time. So I’m assuming they meant log into USConnect 7 days after the date of the letter and you should find the Enrollment Commitment Deposit box.

bbcc10

you need to be logged into your account then paste the link into the browser.

ok thanks i hope that means that i still have a shot even though the links wont work for me…

THE LINK WORKED!!!
It says on the left something like
Freshman Enrollment
Commitment Deadline:
5/1/2010.
Enrollment Commitments submitted after this date will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

it did not worked 24hours ago but now it works!!!
YAY!!!
TROJANS!!

thats what I’ve been doing but it just shows up blank or if I use the other link tells me to log in

The enrollment confirmation link worked for me as well, but it did say it was unauthorized earlier this week. My status has been “we are unable to process the status of your application at this time” since day 1, however for the first time today my application tab finally showed the three boxes you all have been talking about (Undergraduate application, admission documents, and mid-year grade reports). I’m not making any conclusions especially since my portal is kind of messed up.

really? hmmm I know I encountered a few problems since I’m a mac. For starters I could only view my usconnect via Safari. Once I was able to view it, (the enrollment box would appear) it wouldn’t let be click it because I had a pop-up blocker.
