ukukdad and jaymedee, where do you guys live??

Santa Clarita (it is about 60 minutes from USC)

I called today to see what items were missing, was told d’s file was complete and to look in the mail box everyday to check for acceptance. Am I crazy but is it a clue. There has never been a forwarded or status change. IDK what to make of it except tokeep praying.

^ninismom, which school did your daughter apply to? and what is her status? b/c checking mail box everyday sounds like she’s been accepted, since rejections are in 2 weeks.

So are they releasing admissions letters daily now? Santa Clarita should have recieved letters sent on Friday a lot sooner than today…

I live in Socal and apparently a bunch of people from my school received their letters today. Since SoCal got the Friday letters on Saturday, they must have sent some yesterday…

If theyre sending them daily and my status hasn’t even changed from being reviewed –> forwarded, is this a bad sign ? :(

today package stamped on 3/16
many packages were stamped on 3/12

so should be more within 3 to 4 days…

She applied to CLAS and the status has been Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
We have received your application, and we need more information. Please ensure you have submitted all required items. Due to the high volume of application documents we receive, allow sufficient processing time. Like I said when I called he checked and said everything was in and “oh this is for Freshman” check your mail box everyday they have been sent out. Looking for a small sign in everything. I hope so but you never know. She is UW 3.8/W 4.6, SATs were low so were her ACT she hates test.

anyone know how long it takes mail from los angeles to reach chicago??

USC’s letters (I think both acceptance and rejection, but I’m not sure) go out via Priority mail, so it’s 1 day for most of Southern California usually and two to three days for the rest of the US.

At least 3-4 days. I’m from Chicago too.

I dont’ think USC is releasing them every day.
More likely, it seems the people who had their acceptance mailed at MArch 16th got into Roski. Roski might be sending them late.
Hopefully, USC will continue what they did last year and send out another wave this weekend.
Don’t you guys expect one more weekend after that for one more wave?
They’re sure not going to send out rejections on the friday of the 26th.

^xxwaznxx, I’m pretty sure the friday of the 26th, they send out the spring admits, so this friday might be the last chance for fall admits. Just speculation.

Maybe. EVERYTHING is speculation here ain’t it?
Hopefully with the second wave more of us will get accepted and the those who did can help clear some mysteries for the rest who are hoping for acceptance or at least a spring admit.
But looking at last years Stats 2009 thread, some people got accepted fall all the way till March 30th.
I think that the last wave will be a mixture of regular fall acceptance (might be very few) with Spring admissions

I am from southern California and I got mine yesterday. They mailed it out on Tuesday, I applied to Thornton. So maybe during the week they send out the arts colleges ones, And on Friday, everything else.

do you live in SoCal jaymedee? Also, is the status process always fowarded –> review?

my stat is still at Forwarded and its been like these since Feb. i jus called the ad office and asked them they just told me the same thing… then she asked me if my address was correct on the system and i said yea…I am so anxious to hear back

omar: hmm well if they asked about your address… maybe something is in the mail for you! hahah gotta be optimistic. what major/school did you apply for?

I finally got my acceptance packet today!! Its postmarked 3/16. So you guys, Im guessing that waves arent only on Fridays, and there should be coming!

Einnob - I don’t really want to look back to see if you’ve already answered this, but have the infamous “links” worked for you recently?
