ACT-31 Do I even have a chance? I will Chance Back ASAP!

ACT:31- Eng:31 Math:35 Reading:29 Science:28</p>

<p>SAT II Japanese:780
SAT II Math 2: 680
SAT II Us Hist:670
SAT: 1980 (Im only sent this to like 3 schools because they required it ugh)</p>

<p>Class Ranking: 1/475 before mid year.
Now its a 37/475 but since our school has a weird ranking system where theres multiple valedictorians, my counselors explaining that. </p>

<p>GPA before Midyear :4.0/4.0
GPA after Midyear: 3.8/4.0
I got 2 B's from 9th to 12th grade in calc ap and eco ap. the rest were A's</p>

<p>My Essays were simple but good. </p>

Piano-5 years
I volunteer at a Nursing Home and take care of Alzheimer's patients.
I help freshmans get used to high school by tutoring and assisting them throughout the year
(I have volunteer hours, but I dont want to get nit picky on here)</p>

<p>I have alot of awards from cheer dance and some academic.</p>

<p>I speak English, Japanese and German.</p>

<p>I can speak for bc that your chances are good because I got in ea with a 30 before raising my score although my ecs and leadership may be a little better . Nyu seems like a match to me too. I don’t know much about Cali schools so I can’t say anything for those. Yale and columbia-reach, duke and Cornell-mid reach and Georgetown-low reach. Chance me back I’d you don’t mind.</p>

<p>I’d say a match for non-ivies, the SAT score is a somewhat of a shot in the balls for Yale and Columbia, not so much for Cornell

<p>I have quite similar stats to you but maybe a bit worse… MY ECs are also weaker, but I dont think your chances will be 2 standard deviations from my chances.</p>

<p>Duke (my chance was about a 5%) – I say around 15% granted you do well on your interview</p>

<p>Cornell — reach, although it will be tough</p>

<p>Columbia/Yale — Crap shot</p>

<p>USC — Match</p>

<p>UCB — Match</p>

I really want to get into Cornell or Duke though . I have a feeling i have a high chance at NYu but the only problem is that theyre not that great at financial aid.

<p>Yale and Georgetown seem like a bit of a reach, but I say you have a fairly good if not great chance for the rest; great EC’s, you should be really confident.</p>
