I took the SAT. Did not score as high as I intended to or as high as i know I can. Will retake in October of senior year again.
Same occurred with the ACT- retaking in September.
I have an issue with subject tests.
I did not score as well at all.
620- Chem
670- Math
650- US
Taking in November is a bit risky because of deadlines- so is it worth reataking or sending these scores in and getting high ACT/SAT?
Average is around 92, with
Honors Trig, Chem, Pre calc, Spanish, English (soph and junior), Honors Physics,
along with AP Calc AB, US History, World History, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Lit, and Macro, and Multivariable Calc.
So keeping in mind these classes and average, how much will my SAT II scores make it or break it and is it worth retaking or sending what i have?
Thank you. :D

it really depends on what school(s) you’re applying to. as far as i know, schools don’t really require SAT subject tests, they’re just extra. so i don’t think they’re as important as the SATs. if you really feel that you can do better, then i recommend just retaking the regular SATs. also, it seems kind of random that you’d take chem, math and us. subject tests are more for demonstrating your knowledge in what you’re majoring in. is it math 1 or 2? because usually it’s not worth sending if it’s math 1 especially at only 670. if it’s math 2, it’s alright.

I mean i took AP Chem, AP US and AP Calc so not as random. I can definitely do better on SAT I but, the SAT IIs are required if sending SAT I so, they are pretty low. Really hard decision.
