Penn's testing requirements page on their website seems to say that if you take the ACT instead of the SAT then you don't have to take SAT II's. Is this the case or am I reading it wrong? Also, because I know some undergrad colleges at Penn require or recommend certain tests, I will be applying for Physics. Thanks!

Send the SAT 2’s anyways. I had a similar concern last year, I sent my ACT and 2 SAT subjects for Engineering, and I was accepted. (Math and Chem), yeah not even physics and it was fine.

It isn’t required for Physics, but it doesn’t say that it will not help or be considered. I would want to submit one math and one science SAT subject test.
