ACT with Writing AND Subject Tests?

<p>Hi guys, I see Penn recommends SAT Math 2 and Physics subject tests, OR the ACT with writing.</p>

<p>I took the ACT, 35, but I also have a couple great subject test scores. I never took the SAT. Can I send the ACT and the Subject Tests in? Will that give me any sort of boost or is that expected for engineering students? I tried emailing admissions but they just sent a generic email.</p>

<p>Yes it can be sent in, as some schools require both the ACT and subject tests. I don’t know how official that boost would be at Penn, but it definitely won’t hurt you if you did well on them. Although, like you said, I’d expect most engineering applicants to have taken (and excelled in) a math and science subject test that they’ll send in regardless of whether they took the ACT or SAT.</p>
