wasn’t the one on the value of b=-4
because it said g(x)= 10x+b
and f(x)= sqrtx
and the point (4,6) was on the line
so 6= sqrt(10*4+b)
so 36=40+b
thus, b=-4?
am i right???

Yup. That’s what I got.

Yeah I got that too.

So the answer is -4 then right?

Yes the answer is -4. And all the other choices were negative too if i remember correctly.

what about the absolute value problem?
i think 5 times the absolute value of -8+9

It was -5 l -8+9 l. I don’t remember the choices o.o

‘It was -5 l -8+9 l. I don’t remember the choices o.o’

i put -8+9=1…times -5=-5
not sure if it was right though. and im ****ed i got the 11,11 wrong.50% chance and i chose 111 fudge!

yeah the 11x11 one I just didn’t have time and I ended up guessing 144 which was wrong.

its was 15+9=24…

@matt, I think you’re thinking of the blue flag question.

11 x 11 disjoint problem = 100 squares with finite area. The answer was A

Consolidated List

28/60

4 was answer to the one on the roads (the 5,12,13 triangle) with elm street

the diagonal of squares increase by sqrt.2 *L
4-pi for the one circle in the square

Can someone explain to me why the parallelogram’s fourth vertex was (a + c,b) and the angle between the y - axis was 35 degrees?

What was the 25 petunias question again? I don’t know where it is in the thread.
And i thought the square’s diagonal increased by sqrt2*L

@ elau, you’re right, my bad

For the parallelogram, the height of the top left corner was given as (a,b) so the 2nd variable has to be b. They gave the bottom right part as (c,0). Adding the distance from y-axis from top left part and then c is a+c. If it had the same x variable it wouldn’t be a parallelogram.

EDIT: The parallelogram has equal opposite angles. Because the one given (top right) was 55, the opposite was 45. That angle forms a complimentary angle with the y axis=35 between.

also, you guys remember the quadratic?

5+/-sqrt(25-(4)(3)(1)) / 2(1)

it gave u that the total number for petunias was 60 + 40 + X
but it also stated that the total number of petunias were equal to that of another flower.
total number of other flower was 125
so x was 25

yeah it was positive five, I caught that after double checking. Your quadratic is right.
