yes but 3x3 + 5x3 = 24

okay **** yeah I probably messed that one up then

Does anyone remember if 15 was a choice for that question? I solved it as 24 but am thinking I may have gotten confused and chosen 15 if that was a choice…

does anyone know what letter the option for 100 was on the question about the 11x11 plane

I think it was A

I’m pretty sure 100 was A

damn i think thats the only one i got wrong

@linger: The question gave you the functions f(x) = sqrtx and g(x)= 10x - b. The question asked to find b through f(g(x)) given that it passes through the point (4,6). The answer is thus 4…answer choice F

For the function one I first skipped it, then when I came back time was running out so I just put 4 in for B on my calculator and it went through (4,6) so i chose 4. I think I depended on my calculator a little bit too much, but I needed to save time

I think I got the same thing Blebbing :)

@Blebbing + Linger. The answer was not 4. F(g(x)) gives you sqrt (10x+b). It passes through (4,6), thus you have sqrt (10(4)+b) = 6. b = -4

Did anyone get 36 for that?

noo…I put -4. I forgot the negative sign in front of b :(

oh maybe I put 36…

I dont remember now

yes its 100

I was just guessing when I put 36

guys…

everyone says the answer for the elm street house question is 11, but i got 15

please explain how its 11

@BlaineR: Yeah, you’re right! I forgot the negative sign. Regardless, the answer was F.

anotherindiankid–It said there were 25 buildings, 10 had more than 7, and 4 had more than 8, which means there were 6 that had eight. It also said there were 8 less than 7, so 25-6-8=11

i put 15 because it said 10 houses greater than 7, 4 houses greater than 8, and 25 total houses. but it also said 10 houses less than 6; i took that to mean that 1 house had 6 rooms… therefore 10+4+1=15
