ACT April 4 ---- main discussion

i put condescendingly
it definitely was
the guy said
"hmm, oh thats an anther" and then walked away
if that happened to me i would think thats pretty condescending]

what was the clock one in math? like describe the question because i dont remember it

It was condescending. I think because he "sniffed"

yea i put condescengily or howver u spell it

haha i had the advantage in the cytoplasm one; i'm in ap bio
the answer was plasma membrane/cell membrane
the diffusion and active transport of molecules occurs at the membrane
yeah i put saturn too
What was the question about the plant growth. I put cell membrane, but the whole passage talked about cytoplasm but it wasn't an answer
It was cell membrane. It talked about salt going into cells, so obv it goes through the membrane.

@smt it was cell membrane because the cell membrane separates the cytoplasm and exterior of the cell. The exterior had the nutrients or whatever

yeah it said he sniffed

yeah for the planet one, there was no information in the passage about that. The only planet they talked about was earth so I put that, but seeing all of these responses I think I am wrong

F UCK, this test was hard! Someone tell me! Which month's tests are easier? I thought this was pretty difficult! How was it like compared to other exams?

woot yay we just did it in biology like 4 chapters ago :D

yeah it was cell membrane

I put Saturn because I remember Scientist B said something about "giant planets" and the other planets (Earth, Venus, and Mercury?) were not...

The guy's speech about sprawl.. was it persuasive or explanatory?

And yeah, it was Saturn. Because you're supposed to know it's huge.

Persuasive for real.

for sprawl i put persuasive

persuasive
at the end he was explaining how to fix sprawl

i think i put informative...if it was one of the answer choices..

Okay, that's what I put. How about question 40 on reading? Was it extracting pollution things or making artificial snow? I think that's the only one I got wrong on reading.

edit - I don't think it was informative.. he was giving too much personal thought, which swayed me toward persuasive.

i said extracting pollution from the snow flakes because the passage said they might be able to find the source but nothing about extracting pollution from already polluted flakes

what did everyone put for the science one where scale a was upsidedown and put ontop of scale b

i put mercury for some reason because there was something about how long their orbit had to be..
