Should I send both ACTs? (Same Composite, Diff Subscores)

Hey guys. I'm deciding if I should save $30 and not send one of my ACTs to Harvard, Brown, and Princeton.

Here's the deal. I got a 33 Composite both times.

Feb. 2011- Composite: 33 (E: 33 R: 33 M: 32 S: 32 W: 10)
Apr. 2011- Composite: 33 (E: 36 R: 34 M: 35 S: 27 W: 10)

My subscores are all WAY higher during the April SAT, EXCEPT Science, which plunged 5 points (how frustrating!!)

Will my admission be affected if I only send my April ACT? They will see I got a 27 in Science. Is that so bad? Or should I send both, and maybe they'll see I got a 32 in Science once before.

Gah! Thanks.

What’s do you plan on majoring in?

A higher superscore can’t hurt you and if you get denied, will you be left wondering whether it was that low science score?

There are several great schools that superscore the ACT, and a 34 would look mighty fine. For schools that don’t superscore, it probably doesn’t matter if you send both, but I’d probably only send the last one. (Science is not that highly regarded by some adcoms.)

2nd one is better, but you realllly look like you’d benefit from an additional time taking it. Study the science section and you could definitely be looking at a potential 35 on your next retake. If you replicated your 36 34 35 on the other three sections and got a 33 on science (which is probably the easiest section to study for), you’d be at a 34.5 which rounds up.

my parents are kind of done with me taking ACT Tests, so taking it again is kind of out of the question.

As for what I plan on majoring in, I am undecided.

So should I Just go ahead and send both scores?
