So I'm confused on how ACT scores are equivalent to SAT scores. I scored a 29 on my ACT, so what would that score be in SAT scores? Please and thank you!

1320-1350/1980-2030

not bad, good work

Thanks! so since we're the new SAT of 2400, my score can range from 1980-2030? However, how much does that weigh for the west coast schools? the same as SATs or would it be a bit different?

ACT to SAT is not exact, because:
1. SAT / ACT scores aren't exact anyway, if your luck was different or different version of the test or different weather/temperature/humidity/sunlight/etc haha, it'd differ by a bit.

People may score better on one test than the other, anyway, due to skillz. Lol.

I would suppose the schools would weigh your ACT and the equivalent SAT equally.

yeah i took the ACT in feb and got a 30, which is about a 2050 at most on the SAT

i took the SAT in june and got a 2220, which is a lot higher than my ACT %ile

Here is a conversion chart ACT-SAT Concordance The CR+M is on the first chart and writing on the next one down.
