I am a member of the class of 2007 and would greatly appreciate your
advice in this matter.
I recently took the ACT without writing at the February test administration:
32 E
36 M
35 R
35 S
35 Composite

I then took the ACT with writing at the June test adminstration:

33 E
34 M
33 R
33 S
33 Composite
11 Essay

My question is what score colleges that accepted only the writing score would consider?

With the ACT, unlike College Board tests, you get to pick which date you want scores from to be sent, and they will only send the score from that date to the colleges. So, I'd have ACT send both your scores, then the school will probably consider your higher comp. score.

bump.................

Just ask the colleges that you are applying to. If you don't like their responses, there is an easy way to rectify this since you are a member of the class of '07. You have plenty of time to retake the test. With ACT, you just send in the test results you want.
