I am a member of the class of 2007 and would greatly appreciate your
advice in this matter.
I recently took the ACT without writing at the February test administration:
32 E
36 M
35 R
35 S
35 Composite

I then took the ACT with writing at the June test adminstration:

33 E
34 M
33 R
33 S
33 Composite
11 Essay

My question is what score colleges that accepted only the writing score would consider?

Well, isn't it kind of obvious? If they only accept test scores including writing, then they'd take the sitting that includes writing. Am I getting your question wrong?

but what about the 35 compared to the 33?

It's not that big of a deal since they're both really good scores.

Send both; so, stop wallowing around looking for empathy.

I know...a 33 is good...I'm pretty sure they'd see the 35 from the other sitting, and figure out that you are a good test taker. Great score...no use to retake. They'd take your Writing one.
