An ACT composite score of 30, for example, can be a section score average ranging from 29.5 to 30.25.
So I wonder, do most schools just look at the composite score of 30, or do they look at the real average of the section scores, without the rounding done by the ACT board.
Two students, composite scores of 29 and 30, seem only a point apart, but the actual averages could me as much as 1.25 points apart!
How do schools deal with this?
