ACT English and Writing Advice?

<p>I'm having my ACT in one month. SO far, my practice score is around 28 but my English is really bad, which is around 22. Any advice to improve English score?? I was hoping for a 34 or at least 30</p>

<p>Beside, I took SAT twice and ended up v a 6 and a 8 for essay score. I was wondering is there any formula to write an ACT essay like SAT do? Does it require to write more than 2 pages? I only finished like 1.5 pages during my last SAT.</p>

<p>Ps:international student who doesn't know much the system works.</p>

<p>Would this guide help with the English section of the ACT? This should include information on the specific grammar rules, punctuation, etc. Has anyone used this for the ACT?</p>

<p>Barron"s “ACT 36” has a very good English section. I wrote 2 pages on my Essay and received a score of 10.</p>

<p>@Kansaskid1 Is there any formula for the ACT writing? And does Barron has pdf version on internet? THX!!^^</p>
