On every single practice test, even the first one, I got over 32 on the english part.
On the june ACT, a 22 on english?
No, the questions were not hard. What was the reason for the drastic decrease? Now that I think over my situation, I realized the problem.
The English part is the first section on the ACT. It was my first time taking the ACT; normally, I'm a fast test taker but this time, I spent over 20 minutes on the first passage of the English part. Why? To make sure I read each word. The result was I did not understand the passage at all; I did not connect the words.
Seriously, do not read the individual words, read the sentence. This has never occurred as a possible problem for me, and it proved to be fatal.
This completely ruined my composite and chances to compete for scholarships in the ACT field.

I was going to say maybe the practice tests you did were too easy but your punctuation is perfect lol. Yeah buddy don’t read each word lol…
Dont worry you can always retake the act also.

Don’t worry be happy Retake in September, study a bit, and don’t over think it. Best of luck.
