1.) My friend Ellen is typical [of many more] potters in that some pieces she shapes on a spinning potters's wheel and others she builds on a work table from coils or slabs of clay.

F.) NO CHANGE
G.) of many (Correct Answer)
H.) mostly of (What I put)
J.) for most

To be honest the sentence it self is very confusing, can some please clarify to me why the right answer is G.?

Any other tips on the English section, I got a 23 on it.

It’s just an idiomatic phrase and every other choice is awkwardly worded. Typical mostly of is wrong. Using those words, it would be “of most.” However the best choice is “of many.”

Yeah it makes sense, I feel like a lot of the mistakes seems stupid or I rush through it, does doing more practice help? I have the 2012 Princeton ACT Prep.

I got a 36 on English and I didn’t really do anything special to prepare. I just did a few practice tests. Just keep doing English practice tests until you feel you’ve improved.
