Hello, does any top school accept ACT test score?

I believe every single school accepts ACT scores. It's the SAT that some schools won't accept. How you doing dko? :)

dko, aren't you applying to colleges right now?

All top colleges will accept ACT scores, but the February sitting won't reach most colleges in time. If you take the writing part of the test (which is required by all top colleges), ACT will need 5-8 weeks to report your score. Have you checked if any of the colleges you are interested in accept January SAT scores? I think most top colleges don't accept those, and your ACT scores would arrive several weeks later than that.

Foreman, which colleges do not accept SAT scores???

Sorry, states that require the ACT: Illinois, Colorado, Michigan, Kentucky, Wyoming

States that require the SAT: None

Aehm... ok, some states require all high school students to take the ACT, but colleges in that state still accept SAT scores in lieu of ACT scores...

thanks a lot guys. I am good Foreman :! barlium:) Actually I was just wondering because, I can still register for the ACT february test but do not know whether columbia cornell u penn will accept it> ??helP???:(

You can contact the colleges and ask, but I doubt that they would accept February test scores. The scores would not reach colleges until March, and by that time most admission decisions will have been made already.

Yeah you`re probably alright! well I am taking the january SAT SUBJECT TEST :
Math 2 ,Lit and french
Hope I will score well and therefore proof at least that my horrible SAT Is score did not exactly match my skills. Albeit SAT I remains crucial!
