<p>are they acceptable for RD? so far the only college that has said it won't accept them has been stanford. the rest won't give me definitive answers! they say they MIGHT use it etc. so i am turning to you wise CC'ers. please tell me, if you know, whether colleges really do accept scores from either of these dates.</p>

<p>There are many colleges that will take the Jan SAT as long as you designate the college as one to automatically receive score as soon as it is released, such as one of your free sends, i.e., you can’t wait until the score comes out to determine whether you will send it. All the ivies, UChicago, MIT, Northwestern, are in that group. You need to check other colleges. However, as far as any higher ranked colleges I am aware of none takes the Feb ACT because that is just too late.</p>
