Act...help Meeeeeeeeeeeeee

I just took the SAT for the 2nd time this past month. The first time I got a 1750 but I think I am over 1900 (my original goal) the 2nd time, but I'm not 100 percent sure because the scores havent came out yet. But I also schedualed for the ACT this saturday Oct. 22. I haven't started studying yet but I have this book "ACT FOR DUMMIES" so I might look at that. Does anyone reccommend that I shouldn't even bother taking this test because its a week away and I haven't started studying. I am very familar with SAT stuff so can I just use what I kno from the SAT for the ACT? HELP MEEE

I think you should definitely take it just to see, especially since you already dished out the cash. Since you are famaliar with the SAT, I would recommend looking over some ACT strategies to become famaliar with the test. I just started studying yesterday, but I am on fall break : ). You do have a chance of doing better on the ACT though, especially (in my opinion) if you are better with verbal than math. Also you can guess without penalty on the ACT. I say go for it, you have nothing to lose.

I would definetly skim through the book, at the least. The ACT and SAT are pretty different.
