ACT high 34 convert to SAT?

Hi there!

I was wondering. How would I convert my ACT score to SAT? On most conversion scales they convert a 34 to 2260, but I am on the higher end of 34 meaning that I was close to getting a 35.

My ACT breakdown is as such:
Composite: 34
English: 35
Math: 34
Reading: 33
Science: 35
Writing: 31

This should convert to an SAT score higher than 2260 right? Seeing both my high 35s made me almost get a 35 composite score? There seems to be a range of SAT scores for ACT scores but I am not sure where I fall on exactly.

And do schools superscore the ACT? Cause if I ‘superscore’ my previous Reading score of 34 I would have have a composite superscore of 35.

However, even if they do superscore, my previous composite score was a low 33. Assuming that the schools does not require all testing to be declared and you can choose your best test, will revealing this lower test for ‘superscoring’ worsen my application?

Thanks!

Colleges expect that test scores will improve; they won’t hold earlier scores against you, especially when they’re excellent in their own right.

And that “high 34” is good enough for any college. No conversion necessary.

Yeah, the difference between a 34 and any higher score in admissions will be negligible. Don’t worry about it; just be happy that you’re done with the ACT.

The conversion is from 2280 to 2330. Not just a flat one number.

Some schools superscore and your scores will get a lot of money at quite a few places with a GPA of 3.5.

Try the following:

Oklahoma State
OU
Alabama
Auburn
Baylor
Texas A and M

A 34 is good enough for any college, and yes, a 34 does translate to around 2260-2320. If you want to waste your time and money, then retake; however, I would take advantage of the time you now have to work on GPA and extracurriculars. Good luck!

plus you probably just finished APs. give yourself a break!!
