I took the ACT 4 times and didn’t improve much. Super scored my ACT is about a 32. Some of my colleges want to see all my scores and I’m afraid that It will look like I didn’t study and just wasted my money or that I studied and it didn’t improve my score.
Right now, I’m planning on submitting my ACT to colleges who super score and my SAT to those who don’t have score choice. Does that sound like a good plan?
when converted, your sat composite score is equivalent to a 31 on the act. in my opinion, that is the only score i would use. i understand wanting to have the best chance possible, but is it worth spending the money you could use to take the sat again (and [potentially] do better on that test) on score reports to schools? i’m not sure how many times you have taken the sat, for you didn’t specify in your post, but i would save the money and either re-take the sat or send only your sat composite score.
unless money is not an issue. i totally did not think of this (lol, surprise, surprise), but if money is not an issue for you, then i say you should do whatever you think is right when sending your scores.
Not the best plan, but you could send both scores and let the school pick the better scores. Check with your the admissions officers of the schools–some will tell you that they will use the better scores.
@kalons Not true. On the College Board conversion scale an ACT score of 30 is a 1400. I would definitely submit only the ACT scores.
