Does anybody have a list of schools that take the ACT in place of the SAT Subject tests?

Off the top of my head I know Boston College, Middlebury, and Wesleyan.

this is a good thread idea because I did well on my ACT and not as great on my SAT, and even though I did well on my SAT II's I don't want to send them because then they'll see my SATs.

Most of them do, some of them don't. There is no list. Check the websites of the schools you're interested in and find out.

Tufts will take ACT with writing instead of SAT subject tests

now, what if I have taken both the ACT's and the SAT II's...how will I let the college know I want them to look at the act's instead of the sat ii's?

If you want them to look just at the ACT, don't send the SAT I or II scores.

get on collegeboard.com and search for the schools you wanna apply to. it'll tell you what they accept/recommend

OKay but I did well on my SAT I (2150), absolutley miserabley (like realllyyyy bad) on my SAT IIs (math I 620 US His 640 Spanish 660) and well on my ACT (32)..so I do not know what to do...

i'd submit your ACT scores. it's pretty much the same as your SAT and w/ the ACT, most schools don't require subject tests too. there are some though. again, just check collegeboard
