ACT June testers

yeah i agree i also got 4…

i got 4 as well

Yep its 4…i did what LJGoBlue did!

wow this sucks

yes, definitely 4.

2:1 in 12 is 12/3 = 4 so you multiple each part by 4, so its just 4

Ok, can anyone actually explain the matrix q though and with an answer?

is the sector one 150 or 75?

What did you guys get for the f(g(x)) problem?
I think the choices were like 1, -1, -5, -7

Did anyone think the science was a bit tricky towards the end?

The questions involving the spheres were sorta confusing

Wasnt the sector 150?

and for the fg problem, I dont remember the exact answer but you had to find the value given in colum 1 of chart one, get the value from column 2 of chart one, then use that value in column 1 of chart two and the answer was what ever it said in column 2 of chart 2. I think it was -1? But I really don’t remember the exact answer.

@seasmart YES! i hated the object x and y passage.

@seasmart I thought the science section about the spheres was tricky soo I lost a lot of time… ended up rushing through the rest… frustrating because i was able to finish the science sections in the red book with time to spare ><

@VT2015

I think I got -5 for that one

@VT, what question involved spheres?

Edit: Never mind, you mean the science

For the matrix one I got 13/4, but I did most of it using the matrix functions on my TI-84. The g(f(x)) one was -5 I think. And the science did get a little tricky towards the end. I thought the one with the spheres was semi-difficult.

What were some of the other hard math questions? I can’t really remember what they were like

@grapple, the x y passage made no sense at first! and I had to rush my way to finish

for the matrix one, was 13/4 choice A?

I was referring to the science section
