@balrog29 Yea, it was my first ACT. Not necessarily that the test was hard, but it was a matter of fact of beating the short time limit. Our school did not tell us crap when the ACT was, or that it was mandatory for Juniors until last Thursday or so.
So did you choose a college where even a low score would still accept you, such as a Safety school? Many schools will take the highest ACT score or superscore. Since you were given no time to prep, you can study this summer and get an amazing score in the Fall. Good luck
Gpa’s don’t corralate at all…
I’ve seen some of the best ACT scores in my school - 34± come from people with 2.7-3.3.
@Gumbymom Yea, i’ll study both the SAT and ACT over summer. Well I’ve decided to go to Sac State since I live near the university, and from what I see, the higher your average GPA is the lower the ACT and SAT score to get in.
All the Cal states (except SLO) use the eligibility index for accepting applicants.
(CSU GPA x200) + (ACT composite x200). If you have a good CSU GPA, it could outweigh a lower ACT. You still should have many other options besides Sac State. There are 22 Cal states that use the EI, so Good Luck.
