ACT or SAT, or both in June?

I'm contemplating which test I should take this coming June, or possibly both. I'm hoping to break 30 on the ACT and 2000 on the SAT. My first time around on each I had no prep. I got a 27 on the ACT and a 1720 on the SAT. Which one do you guys think will be easier for me to improve on, if at all? I should note that I have finals on the 6th and 7th of June. SAT is on the 2nd and ACT is on the 9th. Would it be better for me to prep for just one and do my best on that or prep for both...I can't decide

I would take the ACT!

That’s what I’m leaning towards. Any other suggestions out there?

Given your scores, I would prep for ACT but take both…nothing to lose…

Your ACT is already the equivalent of an 1820-1860 SAT…

I never encourage my students to prep for both It wastes your time and effort, plus they’re VERY different tests with different strategies You’re better off focusing on one, and since your starting ACT is equivalent to an 1820 on the SAT there’s no doubt you should stick with the ACT. Good luck!

Yeah I’ve decided to go with just the ACT. If I got a 10 on the writing portion my first time, should I bother taking that part again? Most of the schools I’m looking at don’t require it and I feel that’s a solid score. Thanks.

Take it with writing again; if any of your schools do not superscore and you do better on the overall June test, you would be unhappy if you couldn’t submit it alone…

Alright thank you, I will.
