Act Problems

Hi, I am about to take the ACT on April 25 and i would like to confess that I'm am so-so at math, is there any formulas or equations or anything i need to know to prepare for this test. I did the practice reading section and only got 22 as a raw score and is there any way if i can improve it. I also did the English section and i forgot what i did but i did so-so on it also and is there anything i need to know or improve on the english test. On science, I haven't done it but when I took the PLAN test at my school, i scored high on it, is there anything i need to be aware of science test. I need help, i just started a week ago to study and now i only got a week and a half. I'm planing to get a 25 to 28 on ACT.

I am taking the ACT on the 26th (it is a school test). I just took the ACT on the 8th as well. I recommend you take some practice tests. Be aware of your time. As far as reading, do practice tests and come up with a strategy that works for you. Read around the forums here to get some strats for each section. Good luck.

You don't have a whole lot of time to practice, so what I would do is get a good review book (Cracking the ACT has the best review and it lists all the math formulas you need, along with the facts for science, etc.), and also get the official practice tests if you can find them. The Cracking book has a bunch of tests too. Do what you can in the next 8 days -- study every day!
