Hey guys,

I applyed ED, so obviously, I'm a nervous wreck. Anyways, I took the ACT in October, but I didn't do better, overall. But I scored 4 points higher in the english section. Northwestern just looks at the overall score, right? Should I even bother to make a phone call to ask them?

I'm pretty sure they only look at the overall score (at least that's what I'm pretty sure they said last summer). If it applies, I got the same score twice on my ACT. Howver, the areas that I did the best in flip flopped, too (which was REALLY annoying). If they did take the highest score in each of the areas, my overall ACT would have gone up slightly so I was pretty interested in this question, too. I know that they take the highest in each of the areas on the SAT, but I'm pretty sure they stated that they only take the highest ACT from one sitting. If you want to call them, do it. I'm not 100% sure on their policies (and a lot of things can change). I'd actually like to know what they say to you.
