<p>So, I've been thinking about taking the ACT lately, mostly due to the fact that a couple friends I know got around 1600-1700/2400 on the SAT and 32s on the ACT. Now, I took the SAT cold and scored a 2070. However, do colleges use the conversion charts that you can see online the college board and such? It seems to me that people generally do better on the ACT in terms of that chart.</p>

<p>Also, if you submit the ACT, does it take place of all the SAT 2s? Thanks for any help.</p>

<p>You could try the ACT, but your SAT scores seem fine. </p>

<p>I think you should contact the colleges you want to go to and find out about whether the ACT replaces the SAT 2s. It might vary with the school</p>
