<p>I'm taking the ACT in December (1st and last time) - should I put down schools as recipients or send them manually after? Will it get on time if I send it manually?</p>

<p>They should get there on time. My son is going to wait until he sees his score before he sends them to one or two colleges. If they give you score-choice, why not? Most colleges, you would have to check yours, have score date deadlines in 2006 unless you are ED.</p>

<p>So I shouldn't put any schools down when I register?</p>

<p>Not unless you don't mind them seeing a possibly lower score than you'd like. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but a choice. This is the financial cost of sending scores from the ACT site.

<p>The cost isn't an issue, its a matter of schools getting the scores on time for RD deadline. Can you address that concern? Thanks</p>

<p>You really have to check each college. Collegeboard.com has easy access to each colleges SAT/ACT score deadline. Off the top of my head, I know Univ. of Michigan is Feb.1st, along with many others. I remember of the colleges my son looked at, only H.Cross wanted them by Jan.30th, and even that would be okay with a Dec.10th ACT.</p>

<p>Thanks Debruns - when would I receive my scores if I take in December? Once I receive them do I just logon to actstudent.org and send them to my schools if I'm happy with my score? </p>

<p>I checked collegeboard and BU says "SAT Reasoning / ACT score report due by: 01-JAN"</p>

<p>Boston College says "SAT Reasoning / ACT score report due by: 04-DEC"...I don't see how that makes sense if I'm applying RD (Jan 2 deadline). </p>

<p>Villanova "SAT Reasoning / ACT score report due by: 07-JAN"</p>

<p>UVA "SAT Reasoning / ACT score report due by: 31-JAN"</p>

<p>Will it reach all those deadlines in time? I'm confused about BC's deadline.</p>

<p>You would have to call them. I thought I heard Jan. 1st from my son's GC about B.C. Call the admission office and ask directly.

<p>Oh so it comes a week b4 the deadline - thats good timing :). Thanks for clearing that up. So I'm NOT going to put down any recipients and am going to manually send them.</p>
