this might sound like a silly question but , why is the SAT seem SOO much harder than the ACT for me?? I do pretty well on the ACT practice tests (33-34) (i know this doesn't really gauge how good on the actual test...) but I do horrendously bad on the SAT. I know they test you over different stuff and all but shouldn't I do somewhat as well on the SAT as i do on the ACT ??

so can someone tell me what’s going on ?

Everyone is different. The SAT is generally considered the more “tricky” while the ACT is more time intensive but more related directly to the subject matter. Some students have comparable scores on both, others can do better on one over the other. Sounds like you should focus on the ACT. That’s not a problem since ALL schools accept either test. And if you take it with Writing (highly recommended) some schools will allow you to pass on SAT IIs.
