I guess this question goes for all colleges, but does anyone know the extent to which Duke will view ACT science? Is it considered important, or will they view the other three sections (English, Math, Reading) as more important? I have a 33 composite score and pretty solid scores on the three sections (34 E, 34 M, 33 R, 12 essay) but I only have a 29 on science, which is significantly lower than the other sections. Could someone please help?

I have also been wondering this. My case is even more extreme than yours - 31 composite, 34 english, 32 math, 35 reading, 23 science (proctor issues). The science section personally seems really dumb, but unfortunately for you and I it’s pretty likely that they just look at the composite (which is what they say they do).

they care much more about composite, they barely (if at all) look at the subsections.
