Act Science!!

Hey guys, I need your help. In my last ACT, I got a 35 in every section except the Science (in which I got a 28). Any tips on how to raise science scores?
Thanks!

Many people had trouble with the science section in June, so you're not alone. I haven't seen my results yet, but I'd guess I got below 30 in June, yet back in the February testing, I got a 34. Take it again in October, and especially try and check in places you'll apply to will superscore your results. Thankfully, Caltech, MIT, Olin, HMC, and Stanford all SS the ACT, so study past science sections over this summer and try and boost that section in September.

The June Science section was far more brutal compared to any of the 4 I'd seen before, so don't feel too bad. Study past sections and maybe brush up a bit on Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Earth Sciences. You don't technically need to know AP material for all of them, but if your underdtand what's going on, you'll be confident and you should finish a little quicker.

It definitely helps if you know things, but its more important to get used to the ACT format. Take practice tests and get comfortable with analyzing graphs without reading the passages.
