ACT score dissapointment? HELP!!!!

I took a practice test in my prep book today, it was my first practice test after studying the material. i got a 26 on english 26 on math and missed so many on science and reading i didnt even score it because I also ran out of time. I am so stressed because in order to get into my top choice school I am aiming for a 30. i have studied so hard. do you think that it is possible to practice a few more times before the december 13th test date and improve my score? Do you have any important tips? I am just really worried!

you definitely need to take practice tests. Tip and strategy books are fine tools but the absolute best way to improve is to take actual practice tests and very carefully analyze everything from those tests.

Definitely study and if you're able to, buy the kaplan ACT guide. It really helped me study well and learn the strategies

don't worry. the practice tests told me that i was gonna get a 25-26. i took the real test and got a 31 first time. i think the tests are harder so ur prepared for the real deal.

^ same here. I don't think I ever scored higher than a 29 on a practice test but I got a 32 on the real thing. I become much more focused during the actual test. I never took the practice ones too seriously.

Is the PLAN test a good indicator of scores? Because it says that I got a 28( It also says I go a 23 somewhere on my schools online grade/test thing, but I'm praying it's 28) and, at the least I'd like a 30, but I'm shooting for a 32+, so I've got some work to do.
