ACT Score Jump Questions?

On my first ACT in Feb of this year I got a 25 and I retook it and got a 29 in April. Then I retook it again and got a 32. And I am scared that I might get the ACT letter accusing me of cheating because of my score jump. I improved by 7 points, but I gradually went up (4 points between 1st and 2nd and 3 points between 2nd and 3rd). I have been reading that people got accused of cheating on college confidential, but this was usually due to improvement of 6 or more points between two tests. Has anyone else improved like me? Like gradually improving from each test. And did you get accused of cheating?

edit: I showed ample work in math and I wrote over stuff in science, english, and reading sections that helped me get to my answer.

Thanks so much for your responses!!

I don’t think you have anything to worry about, if you went from a 25 to 36 then they might take a look. They’re a lot of people who make jumps between tests because they put some effort into studying for them, of course if you did in fact cheat, then they have ways to ferret that out.

Since you improved gradually and over the course of 3 tests I don’t think you’ll be accuses of cheating. If anything the first test might look like you simply weren’t prepared or maybe just got super nervous and didn’t do well. Also your scores went up over the course of a few months which shows that you studied. I don’t think you should be worried about being accused of cheating. Also good job on managing to get your scores up!

I think you’ll be fine since it was gradual. Congrats, by the way. That’s a nice jump in scores!
