I am currently in the process of finishing up my application to Cal Poly SLO, however, I am retaking my ACT in December, and I want to submit my scores from December. How do I submit my app by October 30th, but not send my score report until I have gotten my December scores back?
Just send them now. If your new scores are higher, they’ll automatically take them as long as you submit those too. They super score, even across test platforms. If you get a great math SAT and English ACT, that’s what they’ll use. Good luck.
Thanks! Is there a section on the application where it asks for later submissions because I cannot find them.
I don’t know. I never looked at the application when my son filled it out. I do know that you have to ask SAT or ACT to push scores to the institutions you’re applying to. You can do that after the fact.
@seaniboy1998 This is from the Freshman Selection Criteria page: “Only ACT or SAT I scores are used in the selection process. If you are applying for the Fall Quarter, scores from ACT or SAT tests taken after November are not guaranteed to be used in the selection process.”
While it’s worth having your December scores sent, be aware that they may not make a difference. Also, the Cal Poly application deadline is November 30th (not October).
